Vadim Tkachuk was born in Russia in a
small Siberian town called Nyagan.
He started to study music in the local
music school in the clarinet class when he was 6 years old.
One year later he started with saxophone
and moved to Yekaterinburg with his family, where he continued his studies at a
music academy.
From 12 years old. he started to participate in
competitions of various levels (local, regional, national, and international).
At the age of 13, he won 1st prize at the
Golden Saxophone Competition in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2017.
From this point, he decided to connect his
life with music.
At 14, he started his studies at Ural
Music College for one year full of competitions.
At one of these competitions, he got an
invitation during the masterclass to study at the Royal Conservatory Antwerpen
(prof. Hans de Jong), which he accepted.
In 2019 he moved to Antwerp and started
his studies in RCA.
After completing his bachelor's, he
applied to continue his master's studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels
in the class of Simon Diricq where he now studies.
