After studying at the Conservatoire de Nancy, Fabrice Moretti was admitted at only 16 years old to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in the class of Daniel DEFFAYET. He obtained the first prize unanimously first named by special vote of the jury in saxophone, first prize unanimously, and third cycle in chamber music. During his career, Fabrice Moretti was invited as a soloist or orchestral musician by many formations (Orchestre National de France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Orchestre de Montréal, Philadelphia, Shanghai ...) under the direction of prestigious conductors (Ricardo CHAILLY, Charles DUTOIS, Lorin MAZEL, Kurt MASUR, Seiji OSAWA, Yutaka SADO ...). At the same time, he continued his teaching career at the Conservatoire Hector BERLIOZ in the 10th Paris district. Fabrice Moretti is invited to give masterclasses in many countries. For over 30 years Fabrice Moretti has been coming to Japan regularly and forms a renowned duo with Mariko HATTORI.
